Eagle High baseball coach Frank Wright coached the Mustangs to a 7-4 win over visiting Caldwell on Tuesday. The victory was Wright's 600th in 36 years coaching high school baseball.
"That just shows if you stick around long enough, you're bound to win a few," said Wright, who coached former major league All-Star Mark Langston in California along with many Division I players in California and Idaho. "I've been fortunate to have some good players and good assistants over the years."
Wright started Centennial's baseball program in 1987 and has coached at Eagle since the school opened in 1995.
